The words are swirling inside me, crashing around my mind. A hurricane of phrases and sentences. Verb, noun, conjugation. And. I can't get them out. I don't know where to start. At the beginning, where all is well? The climax, the part where something turns, a switch is flicked, a button pressed, and all goes wrong? But what happens in the end? Can the beginning be wrought with the end unknown? There must be a goal, something to achieve, a purpose. But I have no purpose. Not for my writing, nor my education, nor even my life. I am simply drifting along. I cannot write without an end in sight. But I can take a class for nothing better to do? This was meant to be about writing. The words are tumbling around in my mind and I cannot for the life of me catch them. Sentences and paragraphs without purpose or meaning. I want to write dancerverse, smalltown au, something original. The words are stuck in my wrists, the signals not reaching my hands, my fingers. It all seems too cliche and overdone or emotional and close to home, too close to let the words meet the page less something be revealed that should have been kept quiet.

I'm not sure whether this is "goodbye" or "see you soon(er or later)" or .. Is there even anything else it could be?

There's only one more part, unfinished? It comes in at around 500 words and is a continuation of this last scene. I may as well add it on here.

Okay. That's it for dancerverse. Unless you want to see the different plot ideas, the conversation that spawned the 'verse, the character profiles, whatever else I have in this folder that is post-able. I hope you enjoyed it, and for what it's worth, I'm sad that I won't be continuing it, but as you can see, the word counts were just decreasing because I was losing the spark.

Should I have ended it there? Or added another line with Gabe's response?

There's meant to be a part between this and the next that will be posted, but it hasn't been written. It wasn't going to be anything huge though, no large plot developments that don't appear later on.

Also, that's it for today.

It was pointed out by a friend that I don't know anything about dancing. I have never done dancing in any form. If you have and notice an error in my terms (in any of these) feel free to point them out.

This was going to be some big, epic thing. Well. It was going to be some simple one shot and then I got carried away and made it into some big, epic thing. And then I did what I do best. I lost it. I made it too dramatised. I took a break and the flare was gone. It's not finished. But I'm posting it anyway, tomorrow. At least the first part. I'm taking a break from bandom for a while. I don't really know if I'll come back to this journal much, after this. I have [info]jacintertwined waiting for me on standby. But I've had this sitting in my hard drive since I met [info]dancinginastorm and I think it needs to be posted.

These are the planned parts.
Completed.
Started.

Prologue - William sees Gabe.
Part One - William and Gabe meet.
Part Two - William tells Gabe part of his life. (This was more of a continuation of part one that I wasn't quite sure how to write, so it never got written.)
Part Three - William is disoriented.
Part Four - The boys go dancing. (Our favorite.)
Part Five - William finishes his story. (This sort of ended up being William's whole story. Well, most of it. I think fleshing this part out more (it's only 500 or so words) would negate part two, but it was written when I was sort of losing the story, and never got finished.)
Part Six - They stop dancing. (This was where it was all leading to. Alas, never written, nor were any of the proceding parts)
Epilogue - (Would spoil the surprise, but whatever, it's not going to be written any time soon.) William moves in with Gabe.

Coda's:
A - Gabe sees William. A series of scenes. Alternate prologue, if you will.
B - Gabe meets Brendon. (Probably would have been my favorite. It was going to be an epic lovestory all on it's own.)
C - William gets kicked out.
D - Tales from Gabe's apartment. (Gabe's apartment is like, the best place ever. It's this shitty little place, but he lives with Nate, and Travis is there like, all the fucking time, even though he doesn't live there. It's just kind of amazing.)
E - William practicing for exams. (I've written a part of this, but I wanted to flesh it out somewhat (since I wrote it in a draft on my phone during a study lesson) but it was basically going to be porn. Now you're wondering what the exam even is hey? haha. Just dancing. But Gabe is there, so, y'know, porn happens.)

Then, because I just don't know when to stop, we have all these other coda's that pertain to the verse, but aren't part of the main story line at all.
Borders - Oh the Bordersverse. I wanted it to be some little quaint non-chain coffeehouse or something. But then I was thinking about who works there. And we've got Patrick, and he's gotta be in charge of music somehow, so there's a music section. And Jon! Where else can Jon work but as a barista? And then there's Spencer and Ryan. Who take care of the books and the register. But where's Pete?! Oh he's just there every day, stalking Patrick of course. And there's Music Nights! Which are key to coda B where Gabe and Brendon meet. Borders just seemed to fit. Maybe it was the first? You never know
Jac and Audrey - I love them okay. And this was just gonna be some cute little thing about how they met.
The Lucient Dossier Dancers! - Roger is in charge of the school, while Dusty is one of the dance teachers, who is also having an affair of sorts with Katie Kay, one of the students and also William's dance partner.
MikeyWay the interpretive dancer - I just needed to have it, okay?

Okay, yeah. See how deep into this I got? Well, "deep into planning". Only I didn't make up a cohesive and coherent plot, something that just needed to be fleshed out. And I think that was my downfall.

ok, so, i knew gee and lyn-z were having a baby right? like, i'd been told but hadn't actually read an article on it or anything. i just stumbled across this link. and just. *hands*
i know i haven't been a hardcore fan since bullets or anything, but i've still been a fan for a few years, ever since i asked a friend to link me to a song or lyrics that were about lying about being okay, and she told me about "i'm not okay" and etc. this was back in 05 maybe. possibly~ 04, but i'm thinking not.
point being, there was mcr before the black parade. (mcr after the black parade involves a lot of blogs and tweets, not that i'm complaining)
My Chemical Romance is known for hits like "Famous Last Words" and "Welcome to the Black Parade."

just. alghksfjgskf. *hands* again.

on another note, lets talk about how awesome that sex would've been. and i mean, you just kind of expect the pregnancy, since lyn-z is so bendy and all, i mean, if i was gerard i would not let her out of the bedroom.
*cough*

Only a few more days to make a request for the Smalltown AU 12 Days of Christmas posts. Requests close on the 10th, and I will start posting, one a day, from the 13th to the 24th (that's 12 days right? lol)

In the mean time, I need some original names. That don't appear in bandom.

I posted this on [info]jacintertwined, but I've decided to purge that journal and use it for other things in the new year, so reposting here.

Prompt me with things you would like to see in the smalltown au. I'll work on them to be delivered, 12 days of Christmas style.

You have until the 10th of this month to request anything.
Read back over the other drabbles for the major characters I've been using so far.

Comments are screened.

eta I already have some pairings listed in my head, which I'm not going to reveal as they have their own drabbles, so if you cut into one, I will either it make it gen or ask you to choose another pairing.
For the record, pairing and any other kind of prompts are allowed. But I'm not too good at the porn thing.
